                 - By Sofea 💕

Prehistoric archaeology is a branch of archaeology that concentrates on artefacts, civilizations, and additional resources from communities that lived before to the creation of writing or the preservation of recorded history. Although it includes ages like the Neolithic, the field tends to focus on eras like the Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages. ( Source: Wikipedia, 2023 ).

The research and investigation of prehistoric archaeology represents existing society's cultural concerns by demonstrating time interpretations between economic prosperity and political stability. It is connected to other disciplines such as geology, biology, anthropology, historiography, and palaeontology, yet there are obvious variances in the themes they all basically try to understand; the past, whether organic or inanimate, or human existence.

Because of the uniqueness of prehistoric archaeology, the written record is the only traceable evidence to the extent that it cannot be relied upon to support the study of the society on which it is focused; only. Physical evidence includes pottery, burial items, human and animal remains, jewelry, ornaments, and many other artifacts. This sub-area has existed since at least the late 1820s or early 1830s and is now a fully recognized and distinct area in the field of archeology. (Source : Wikipedia, 2023).
