Have you heard about Archaeology of Islam? Yes/ No?
By: Glory
Archeology of Islam can be defined as a specialism within the discipline of archaeology. The term Islamic archaeology may be broadly defined as the examination of the physical remains of human activity and of the wider environment in regions of the world where the ruling elite professed the faith of Islam.

What do you think that archaeologist found or study in this Islamic Archaeology?
Archaeologist will study the special objects of Islamic Archeology such as mosques, tombs, palaces, gardens, and cities. Traditional buildings are also often studied in Islamic Archaeology, perhaps because generally the traditional buildings that still exist developed in conjunction with the Islamic period or were produced by the Muslim community. Before the Colonial period became a separate field of study, the culture that developed also became a study of Islamic Archaeology, or Archeology of the Islamic Influence Period.
